Tesuji

Tesuji is a roguelike deckbuilder built on the ancient game of Go. You place stones to surround your opponent to capture them, and every capture provides points through the row of stones you've drafted across the run. Every match is a fight on the ladder toward the master's seat.

Chase a target, lean on combos that multiply. Here the combos are Go shapes.

Place, capture, score

Surround enemy stones to take them. Each capture fires your stones left‑to‑right. Chips build the base, mult multiplies. Reach the target before your moves run out to win the board.

Build your scoring engine

Between fights, a shop sells new stones and hand‑deployed active stones. Re‑order your card row to build a scoring engine that suits your playstyle. 

Climb the ladder

Extend from board to board across a branching run map, through changing venues, fighting the title‑holders all the way to the boss. You get three lives. Miss a target and you lose one; lose all three and the run is over. Win the run to take the seat.

Real Go underneath

Ladders, ko, nets (geta), ponnuki, life‑and‑death are mechanics from Go. A built‑in codex and tutorial teach the shapes as you meet them, so you can come in never having played.
